Sonic
The third shore. The lightest network of the season on purpose — a short, cheap introduction rather than a second campaign.
| Chain ID | 146 |
| Quests | 4 of 33 |
| Points | 90 of 1,800 |
| Gas token | S |
| Settlement token | USDC |
| Venues read | Shadow (v2 pools, concentrated liquidity) |
| Liquid staking read | stS |
Its part of the season
Sonic is a first visit, not a residency. Three of its four quests are worth ten points each and ask only that the wallet exists here and holds something — enough to get a player onto the network and through their first transaction, without a long detour from a season whose centre of gravity is elsewhere.
The fourth is different: a liquidity position on Shadow, worth sixty.
This is deliberate. Repeating a whole campaign on a third network would inflate the points bank without making the season better — a network adds a route, not a second scoreboard. The reasoning is in Quests and tasks.
Quests
| Quest | Asks for | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Third Shore | Hold gas on Sonic | 10 |
| Fast Lane | Hold 0.10 USDC or more | 10 |
| Turbine Share | Hold 1 stS or more — S staked through the liquid wrapper | 10 |
| Shadow Berth | Hold a liquidity position on Shadow | 60 |
Turbine Share is the only place in the season where what gets staked is the fuel of the network itself.
How verification works here
On Sonic the season reads balances and positions, not individual trades. Every quest above is confirmed by what the address holds at the moment of the check:
- gas and token balances, read from the chain for the address on the player's profile;
- stS, read as ownership of the liquid-staking token;
- Shadow Berth, read as ownership of a Shadow liquidity position — classic pools and concentrated liquidity both count.
Because these are holdings rather than history, the block you started at does not matter on this shore — but the position has to be open when the check runs. Withdraw first and the check finds nothing.
One consequence worth knowing: a Sonic quest is never the verified transaction that payout eligibility asks for. A swap quest on Base or Soneium is — and so is a counted Denshin Sync, including one sent on Sonic. See Fair play.
All read-only, as everywhere else. See Proof and verification.
Denshin Sync
The daily Denshin Sync runs on Sonic. The contract is 0xCCFFb22048d9E1fDd04F5F3B9681cC0C95a0f654 — verified source on Sonicscan.
A sync here costs only gas, a fraction of a cent, paid in S. It sends no value, moves no tokens and asks for no approval. Any wallet linked to your profile can send it.
Starting here
Cheapest of the three to try: gas costs very little, and three quests ask for nothing but a balance. A good place to finish a season rather than to open one.
