Denshin Sync
The Daily Check, taken on-chain. One small transaction a day, on the network you choose, recorded in public where anyone can read it.
What it is
Denshin Sync is how you take the day's Daily Check point: a single call to sync() on the DenshinSync contract, on Soneium, Base or Sonic — your choice, every day.
The point on the map, the streak and what each day pays are on Daily Check. This page is about the transaction.
How to sync
- Tap the day's Daily Check point on the map. The Denshin Sync window opens.
- Pick a network — Soneium, Base or Sonic. The window remembers your choice on this device for next time.
- Press "Sync on Soneium" (or Base, or Sonic). If no wallet is connected, the wallet picker opens — MetaMask or any other wallet it offers; choose one that is linked to your profile. If the wallet is on a different network, it asks to switch first.
- Confirm one transaction in your wallet.
The day counts as soon as the transaction is in a block — seconds on all three networks. The window then shows the day of your streak and the points it paid, with a link to the transaction on the network's explorer.
The window keeps the current UTC time in its corner. The day turns at 00:00 UTC, whatever your own clock says, and the clock is there so you always know which day you are syncing for.
What it costs — and what it does not do
| Cost | The network fee (gas) only — a fraction of a cent |
| What you need | A little ETH on Soneium or Base, or a little S on Sonic |
| Value sent | None |
| Tokens moved | None |
| Approvals asked | None |
The contract is deliberately inert. It holds no funds, has no owner, no admin function and cannot be upgraded — there is nothing in it to withdraw and nothing anyone can change.
All it does is record, for each wallet that calls it: the last day it synced, its on-chain streak, its longest streak and its total number of syncs — and emit a public Synced event.
A SYNC NEVER ASKS FOR MORE
A Denshin Sync never sends value, never asks for a token approval and never goes to any address other than the one below. A "sync" that asks for any of those is not ours.
The contract
One address, the same on all three networks:
0xCCFFb22048d9E1fDd04F5F3B9681cC0C95a0f654| Network | Gas token | Verified source |
|---|---|---|
| Soneium | ETH | soneium.blockscout.com |
| Base | ETH | basescan.org · base.blockscout.com |
| Sonic | S | sonicscan.org · sourcify.dev |
The source code is verified and public, so anyone can read exactly what sync() does before calling it.
The streak the contract stores is kept per wallet and per network. The streak that pays your points is Denshin's own: it belongs to you, not to a wallet or a network, so you can sync on Base one day and on Sonic the next without breaking it.
The rules
- One sync per wallet per UTC day, on each network. The contract enforces this itself: a second sync from the same wallet on the same network that day is refused.
- One Daily Check per player per UTC day, across all networks. Syncing on a second network the same day is possible on-chain, but it pays nothing extra.
- From a linked wallet. The sync must come from a wallet linked to your Denshin profile — any linked wallet, not only the main one. A sync from a wallet that is not linked is not counted.
- The day is the block's. A sync belongs to the UTC day of the block it landed in — 00:00 UTC on every network — not to the time on your device.
- Just before midnight still counts. A sync that landed in a block before midnight counts for that day even if the app hears about it after midnight — as long as the next day has not been counted yet. Nothing older than yesterday is ever counted.
- A closed tab does not cost you the day. If the page is closed or reloaded after you confirmed the transaction, the app remembers it and hands it in on your next visit from the same browser. You never pay twice for one day. While a sync is out and waiting, the window offers Check again instead of a second sync.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Cancelled in the wallet | You declined the transaction | Nothing was sent and nothing was paid. Sync again when you are ready |
| Not enough gas | The wallet has too little ETH or S on that network | Top it up, or pick another network |
| Already synced on this network today | This wallet has synced there today — from another device, for example | Pick another network |
| Wallet not linked | The wallet you are using is not linked to your profile | Connect a linked wallet, or link this one under Settings → Wallets |
| The wallet did not switch network | The switch was declined or failed | Switch the wallet to that network yourself and try again |
| The transaction failed on-chain | Nothing was recorded | Send a new sync |
A failed or cancelled sync takes nothing from your streak as long as a sync lands before the UTC day ends.
Why it exists
Denshin lives on Soneium, Base and Sonic, and Denshin Sync is its daily presence on those networks. It puts the check-in on-chain: every Daily Check is a real, public record on the network you chose — the Synced event carries your wallet, the day, your streak there and your total — readable by anyone on the explorer.
Because it is a real transaction that someone paid gas for, it is treated like one. It pays your referrer the standard 10% — see Referrals — and a counted sync is a verified on-chain transaction for season rewards.
